Frequently asked questions
Do guests need to install an app to use Face Sort?
No. Guests open the album link in their phone's browser — iOS or Android. They take or upload a selfie directly in the browser. No app download required.
Are selfies stored permanently?
No. Selfies are processed in-session to generate a face embedding, then discarded. Pixbox stores the mathematical embedding (a vector), not the photo itself. This design is GDPR-safe and does not create a permanent biometric profile.
How accurate is Face Sort at weddings?
Accuracy depends on photo quality and the selfie provided. Pixbox handles lighting variation, glasses, and moderate angle differences reliably. Faces that are more than 50% obscured, very young children, and near-dark photos may not match reliably. Most guests at a standard wedding event find their photos within 30 seconds.
